He doesn't count. Nor does Kaigorodov, Chouinard, etc. People who came to the team and played significant minutes only please.

It's not least favroite Sen, it's worst Sen. Neither of those 3 are anywhere near the top.

Considering that expectations would surely be a factor, Daigle is arguable. The same way that Bondra's case is bolstered by the fact that he cost us Laich.

Daigle wasn't even the biggest draft bust in Sens history. He didn't live up to his draft status but he was really going and looking like a legit 65-80 point per year player until he smashed into that post.

Enough time has passed where I think people can see he wasn't an awful hockey player by any means, a faily good one actually.

That's a fair and reasonable explanation. I withdraw my support for Daigle's consideration.

The intro to this thread implies players that can be defined to us as ones we 'hate'. I hate daigle. I don't think you can dispute my opinion. I also hated fisher

Arneson blew as well, but he wasn't given much of a chance because Murray disliked him from the get-go I think.

Ricard Persson and he was useless. Yes he single handedly cost us that series against the leafs (where we had them on the ropes down 2-0 at home up 3-2 in elimination game).

However my vote goes for Bryan Berard. Any guy who doesn't want to play for the organization that drafts him is a bum IMO. That includes lindros who is incidentally also in Big Ev's avatar.

In terms of who played for Ottawa.....Mike Commodore.

Haha. True. My wording was suspect, as Shabbs already pointed out quite correctly. I certainly understand where you're both coming from. And you're right, your opinion is your own. There isn't a right answer that I'm trying to arrive at with this thread. All opinions are welcome, though Neely will likely let you know what he thinks of yours.

Hated Fisher? That surprises me. I really liked the guy.

Yup. Can't stand him. Love his heart. But he one season where he hit the post about 100 times. Drove me nuts.

Yup. Someone mentioned bonk. He's in the top 5 in terms of production as a Sen

If spader truly meant worst Sen ever (in terms of skills and ability) then no one mentioned so far deserves to be here since they all have at least decent skill (whereas some of those early teams had legitimate awful hockey players who shouldn't have been near the NHL). Guys like Graeme Townshend and Darcy Loewen come to mind.

If he meant least favourite Sen player then it opens up a whole lot of possibilities for sure. I really dislike Gleason for requesting a trade before playing for us, I also hate Dany Heatley and have since he arrived in Ottawa (beat everyone to the punch by a few years there, lol) and Tom Barrasso because he was awful for us (but mostly because the organization traded away my 2 favourite players at the time to acquire him, lol.

Hmm...what I meant was worst significant player. Does that make sense? Someone that played one game and didn't belong doesn't count.

In fact, what I'm looking for is sort of a combination of "worst player" and "least favourite." A list of a bunch of AHLers (or worse) who spent 7 minutes on the ice for the big club isn't much fun.

Criteria used to determine your pick can include a combination of the following: least favourite, most disappointing, biggest jerk, most overrated, most injury prone, etc. Y'know?
