Just speculating here, but it looks to me like we're expecting some healthy bodies to return (Neil, Winchester), and/or the addition of a player or two through waivers / trade...

Greening could be recalled after the game though, that might be to just give Bingo a hand. Condra played ~22 minutes last night + Friday, likely no chance for him to play again, ditto Butler. Lehner I don't understand because they're playing a guy they signed to a PTO I think (Brust is out and Leclaire is getting some much deserved rest).

fixed!

Anyone here any updates on Michalek? He left the game at the end of the 2nd when Spezza shot the puck off his foot, and he didn't play again.

I looked on Google news and there's no mention in the past 24 hrs except that he left the game. Probably waiting for swelling to go down?

Someone tell me we're definitely still gonna get a top 3 or 4 pick. I'm getting nervous. Ohnoes!

Look at those standings again, SD. I really can't see how we could fall out of the bottom 4. We'd have to play about .700 hockey.

I know, but Colorado sucks so bad it's not even funny, same with the Panthers, they'll fall like a rock now. The Isles suck, the Oilers are in the same spot as us - but with no goaltending at all now.

All of a sudden could we end up in 5th last? That would be heartbreaking.

Just brutal. Did you see what Joy said? They don't want him playing in back-to-back games? That's awful. He's done.

Yeah, that's great - and instead of sending Lehner down to take the start, some dude's in net (and the B-Sens are down 2-0 in the 2nd). Diddle.

If we continue to play .750 hockey as we have since Anderson arrived, it's possible yeah. A longshot, but still possible. I don't even want to finish lower than 3rd last. That guarantees us a top four pick. The Isles catching us is a real possibility, and that alone puts us in 3rd last.

The Isles are also on their own little tear you know. They are 6-3-1 in their last 10. New Jersey as well, they are 8-1-1. Colorado is a real possibility to threaten our bottom 2 standing especially since they have Elliott, but as long as the crappy teams ahead of us are also winning, there is no reason to panic. Bottom 4 is still a likely scenario, no need to panic yet.

To steal an old sports cliche: "we just have to take it one game at a time."

So, apparently the Sens will be tendering one final offer to Phillips sometime tonight, then it will most likely be a trade.

Hopefully, they tender the same offer with a year less term. Should have taken the previous offer, fucko!
