And read another tweet that expected him to get the start for today's game as well.

Co... stanza! Instead of dumping Phillips perhaps Murray will call him on Monday and against all good judgment offer him what he wants.

Fans wanted Kuba gone badly - he was playing very well and his value was high... a few years later his value and play is very low.

No thanks in that case. giving Phillips what he wants means we are probably overpaying him. That last game here comment seems pretty cryptic, almost as if he is saying, I am going to be traded if a deal cannot be reached by tomorrow.

I was only joking. I hope that doesn't happen. I would like Phillips re-signed but not at any price. I think some are worried this may happen so this is why I mentioned it in what I hoped was a humorous sort of way.

If we lose Phillips over something stupid like 500K, I'm going to be pissed. Say, he wants $3.5 but we don't want to go over $3. If that's the case, I'd prefer to see BM either bend or meet him half way.
If the two sides were that close, however, I have to think that this would have been resolved before now. I'm guessing it's term more so than the per year dollar figure that's the hangup.
Looks like Garrett Zemlak will make his first #AHL start today for #BSens with Barry Brust backing up.
#BSens scratches: G Brodeur (unknown injury), Leclaire (rest); D Patrick Wiercioch (unknown); F Bass (bone bruise).

Just speculating here, but it looks to me like we're expecting some healthy bodies to return (Neil, Winchester), and/or the addition of a player or two through waivers / trade...

Greening could be recalled after the game though, that might be to just give Bingo a hand. Condra played ~22 minutes last night + Friday, likely no chance for him to play again, ditto Butler. Lehner I don't understand because they're playing a guy they signed to a PTO I think (Brust is out and Leclaire is getting some much deserved rest).
