Murray will be in Ottawa until the RIGHT GM found, the way it should be.
GREAT TO BE BACK!

A month or so ago, I would’ve thought it insane to have Murray back as GM, but for some reason, now I’m thinking it wouldn’t be such a bad thing.
It's funny, I'm thinking the opposite now -- that is, I thought he was gone for sure, but now I'm not so sure. Guy is a hard read, with a serious poker face. I'm just not sure an owner lets a GM do what he's doing right now if he doesn't trust him. Guess we'll find out in the next 4 months.

WB..don't know you, but read the history and look forward to reading your posts...
By RIGHT GM found are you talking the right GM for Melynk or the right GM for an NHL franchise...I'm afraid with all these rumors of Dave Cameron being the next coach that we may get into a who Melnyk likes most situation versus who is right.

Yay!

The right GM as in the guy who will give or keep the credibility of The Sens, who will attract UFA's when the time is right, who will be the right people in place from scouts to the people who sell the beer. The guy that knows what he wants and knows how to put it in place.
Dave Cameron is a hell of a coach though, that could be anyones pick and he could be the next big thing coming to The NHL. Muller is another guy I would look at as well.

Cameron? After his colossal failure at the WJC? Muller I can see, but Cameron, another junior coach trying to make the jump to the NHL? I think we should steer clear of that right now personally.

You don't remember Neely too well do you? His Ego requires extra bandwidth just to get on this website. I don't think you need to stroke it at all.

Like that was Cameron's fault. The only thing he could be blamed for is choosing awful goaltenders. 5 goals in a period is more the players shutting it down then the coach saying "you guys got this, hockey is only 2 periods".
Look at his Majors, they are easily the best team in Canada right now without any real super stars. He's a fantastic coach that uses a fantastic system. I'm not saying he is the right guy but I am saying he might be.

Not sure what to say, when a team blows a lead like the Canadians did, it makes me think of coaching first. I remember he didn't use his timeout properly either, he didn't play the right players when things started to unravel. I dunno, makes me a little nervous frankly, we all thought Hartsburg was the guy, but he couldn't do anything - reminds me of him all over again.
