Foligno is taking the proper strides; lots of time for him yet as well.

Power forwards need an extra 4+ years to be reach their potential, 26-30 years of age.

Yeah, I was saying in the other thread that there's a long time B-Sens poster on HF who compares Greening's game to Kelly's - and says he prefers Greeings', despite Kelly being his favourite player. So that was the highest praise he could have given.

We can get a 2nd for Greening? Haha.

Seriously though, that is good to hear. Greening and Smith are my are my #3 and #2 favorite forwards prospects.

#1 of course, is RNH.

Haha. Butler.

And Landeskog is who I think the Sens need the most; based on his leadership qualities alone.

I want Larsson or Couturier. All 4 have now been listed in the last few posts.

That is the beauty of picking in the top 4; you really can't get a bad pick. No superstars, but teams should get someone who contributes sooner or later.

Well, as long as we grab a pick in the top 4 and don't dress him up as a nurse (stockings and all!!), we should be fine.

I like Larsson because I think he could be the superstar of the gourp. I like Couturier more than RNH because of his size. People aren't that impressed with Couturier's numbers, but the Q has changed from a high-flying league to a tight defensive league (merci Guy Boucher), so his numbers are somewhat misleading.

That was a sad day.

I am usually very careful with my words. I did use the word "should".

You won't get any arguments from me when it comes to the guarantee you speak of. If I am not first, you can catch me in line, for trying to deflate the prospect love some have on this site.

On another note, Bobby Butler is gonna score 50 goals next year. Sarcasm

Oops. I didn't read your original post properly.

I thought we were having a forward prospect discussion so I didn't even see that you snuck Larsson into the discussion. For some reason I read RNH instead of Larsson. Of course, the Dman is my favorite and Murray would be showing a lot of commitment to defence if he picked him over any of the three forwards.

Maybe even this year.

Haha. Hook me up for a second glass of urine if that happens ever in his career.

Yeah, I think he picks Larsson then trades one of our young d-man to get a forward.

Pretty genius move if you ask me.

Methinks that if that happens, one of karlson or Rundblad is gonzo. I excluded Cowen from there because it's a different skillset

Wouldn't it have to be Rundblad in your scenario?

It depends what forward you're targetting. Rundblad has not proven much at this level while Karlsson has (I AM NOT ADVOCATING WE TRADE KARLSSON) ...
