He is for sure. That's why he's down there, to play and get conditioned. It'll suck if he blows it for the B-Sens.

Depending on how some of the CHL seasons go, there might be some new blood coming their way (Cowen, Stone, Culek) and maybe some Euro's?
I think Stone and Culek both have another year in the CHL. And I thought Silfverberg expressed interest in staying for at least another year in Bingo. So unfortunately help won't come from there. But hopefully Petersson will come over. And Rundblad may start the season in Bingo, although the way he played this year, probably not. And Cory Cowick will be able to fill a role where he plays the whole year in Bingo. Hoffman would have spent a year down there, and may start coming into his own.
We also have help in the way of our graduating college players. Louie Caporusso is in his senior year, hopefully he'll be signed at the end of the season. Plus there is always a chance we draft an overager, or add some players via free agency. We had been rumoured earlier in the year to be heavily pursuing that French kid Stephane Da Costa.
As long as they have signed an ELC then they can play with Bingo once their CHL season is over. If they are 18 or 19 they must still be offered to their CHL team next season if not on the NHL roster.Dash wrote:Bass Destruction wrote:Dash wrote:I thought the Bingo fans had warmed up to Lehner. I was thinking they might be available to play for Bingo if there seasons end early, just for the stretch and return to junior next year. Is that possible? Actually it isn't is it? Never mind.

This is good news. We didn't get much of a look this year so far, but a lightning fast skater with a hard shot? I'll take it. I wonder how he did in the accuracy comp.
Bass Destruction wrote:Karlsson had broken the franchise record for fastest skater. Unfortunately for him, Greening was up next, and then beat his time (13.665 seconds lap)

Foligno is taking the proper strides; lots of time for him yet as well.
Power forwards need an extra 4+ years to be reach their potential, 26-30 years of age.

Yeah, I was saying in the other thread that there's a long time B-Sens poster on HF who compares Greening's game to Kelly's - and says he prefers Greeings', despite Kelly being his favourite player. So that was the highest praise he could have given.

We can get a 2nd for Greening? Haha.
Seriously though, that is good to hear. Greening and Smith are my are my #3 and #2 favorite forwards prospects.

#1 of course, is RNH.
