I have to suggest again that this is NOT a typical re-build. There's so much money available to the Sens that not spending any is out of the question - plus, why waste a year of Jason Spezza by not at least doing everything in your power to acquire an NHL proven sniper?

They might take a year to let rookies play, but I doubt it personally. They'll indoctrinate rookies in as there are injuries up front, but I highly doubt there'll be many roster spots open - especially after a summer full of wheeling and dealing (yes, I think it'll be a BUSY summer). Da Costa can blow us away in camp and earn a spot a little easier than if he was on the Flyers let's say (although, what a perfect replacement for Leino if he leaves), but I doubt it'll be that much easier here than anywhere else in the long run.

I guess not. I certainly read that Keller had gotten the call, but I guess it was Condra after all. Either way, I'm excited to see Condra - everyone says he has skating issues, but I'm still excited to see what he brings to the table. Rave reviews for him (and Greening) from B-Sens fans.

He insults them and gives them praise all in one sentence - which is why I doubt this is a big deal. Although, Lehner needs to quiet down from time to time - there's just no chance that he will. He is what he is - and I doubt he tones himself down anytime soon.

Mostly agree with the bolded part except that I'd add that it's not all of them. Just the ones that boo Lehner.

Lehner is the man. He'll need to dial it down a little at the NHL level, but I love the occasional, hilarious quote.

Lehner will definitely need a bit of media training unless of course he's Patrick Roy good. He can say whatever the hell he wants then and it won't matter. LOL

I just heard from someone that went to buy tickets at SBP today that there is possibly a HUGE BLOCKBUSTER deal in the works right now. The receptionist at SPB said that something HUGE was going to happen in the next few days with the Sens.

Take it with a grain of salt, I don't know who she is or what she would know, but I thought I would mention it here.
