Skating across the ice and hitting a guy knee on knee is hardly within an instant. The guy is predatory and dangerous, plain and simple.

Happens too much to downplay it like that, CR.

Absolutely agree.

Again, I absolutely agree. Yes he's paid to "play on the edge," but he crosses the line far too often. If he can't make the right decision while he dances on that line, then he's playing too close to the edge.

Pens have lost 4 of their last 5... lost today 5-3 to the Rags.

Isles won 7-6 in OT over the Sabres. High scoring affair.

Trust me, I didn't expect anyone to agree with me; but I had to say it nonetheless.

Tallon's move to put Grabner on waivers at the beginning of the season is looking worse and worse by the day. The guy is turning into a real find for the Isles, looking to crack 30 goals this year - that's impressive. Is he putting himself into ROY contention with Skinner and Couture?

Doubtful. He might be in line for the Calder Trophy, though. Time will tell.

Carolina just finished off Atlanta by a score of 3-2.

I finally get a rest from watching hockey today. Anaheim at Edmonton starts in 30 minutes tho'. It is not a huge break, but it is a break nonetheless.

That is good. I don't want Ottawa to have to keep losing to maintain their postition. It would be nice if the Isles, Devils and Leafs could keep winning, that way Sens fans don't have to cheer for just losses.

These Sens need to feel what it is like to win; all these losses aren't as good as some make them out to be.

Not a good start for Edmonton, but they have a powerplay right now to try and tie this game up early.
