It's not just Clouston. This has been the MO of this team long before, dating back to the days of Jacques Martin.

They stuck Butler in with Spezza right away the last time he was called up, and Locke was #2 centre in his 1st game.

I don't expect Butler to do much but I might watch now he was pretty exciting to watch before, he gets open and he's got a good shot. Shame Spezza is out.

Butler's a pending RFA I imagine they want to see where he's at it in terms of what to resign him for in the offseason.

I like that actually. Kelly's a frigging trouper right now, getting it done both ends of the rink. Michalek as well, nice to see them together again, I found they worked well.

The Fisher line is a crashing line except for the skill of Butler, who'll need to clean up lose pucks in front of the net and deposit them.

I like Kelly on the top line…he’s been our most consistent player this year, I think. Lineup looks good to me! Maybe we can keep it respectable!
