The same thing we need for our struggling offence (a bonafide sniper) is the same thing we need to help our shootouts. Of course, it never hurts to have a shootout specialist on hand either (a Jussi Jokinen type).

All on one page, pretty cool. Interesting seeing the streaks -- Adrian Aucoin had 5 in a row (as did Boyes); a few players had 6 in a row. Then there's Jussi Jokinen with *9*. You take away those 9, though, and his percentage falls below 40.

Petteri Nummelin -- a defenseman, no less -- has 8 goals on 10 attempts, lifetime. Adrian Aucoin -- another defenseman -- is 6 for 9. It's not always your best offensive player or even a pure scorer (Heatbag is 4 for 25, or 16%).

I never understood why they put him out there, ever. He was horrible at the 1-on-none...
