It's on the Bingo site. O'Brien and Brodeur have been re-assigned go Bingo as you mentioned.

O'Brien showed some nice speed and physicality last night. I like him.

Don't forget his hockey mullet. DancingBanana

Actually, it hasn't gone unnoticed! He "looks" like a hockey player too! Laugh1

Yes, and they go back as soon as their replacements are healthy.

Much like Reimer, once Giguere is ready, he goes back. They can bring him back on regular waivers if they want, but that would be a risk based on his performance.

And to think it was just a few short months ago (pre training camp) that people were writing this guy off as a wasted pick. Shrug

Speaking of which - Giguere is ready.

O'Brien could be Rod Brind'amour's long lost brother (or son!!!!)

Oh, I missed that. I assume O'Brien's being sent down to make Locke an emergency call-up, because O'Brien has clearly not been out of place on a checking line.

Makes sense to me. Would be pretty brutal to call up Locke, get a sense of his ability at this level, then lose him to waivers.

Yep, nice job, Dash. There are other John Locke posters out there. One was "What Would John Locke Do?" -- I briefly considered that one, but the "Don't tell me what I can't do" is much more of a central theme (not just Locke -- a few of the other characters said it as well), and in Corey Locke's case it is very applicable, as well. Or at least unless he Cheechoo's his way back to the AHL.

I'm rooting for Locke. If he can translate his skills up to the NHL level (no one knows yet) then he'll be a real gem that other teams let get away with out even giving the guy a shot. What a feel good story that would be and exactly what Ottawa needs. A sniper that can fill the back of the net, is still fairly young, works hard and will be enthusiastic and grateful for getting the opportunity.

I don't want to get my hopes up but it would be nice wouldn't it?

It would .. I was hoping Cheechoo would bounce back last year as well, prolly so the Heatley could go down a little easier.

Not getting my hopes but it'd be nice to have some good news this season (other than EK).

He's certainly earned it, and that may inspire the other kids in Bingo to play well because they will get their shot.

Except that he isn't particularly young, doesn't work particularly hard and isn't a sniper.

Yes I know I'm being a downer, and I'm excited to see him play (he can't be worse than what we've seen) but I would try to keep the expectations very much in check. There is a reason he hasn't broken out in this league so far.
