I'm actually excited about the changes that are coming. This will be the first positive step the franchise has taken all year.

What a damn shame if clouston is axed because of this. Really hope that's not true.

A start would be waiving kovalev and putting him on re-entry. He could fetch us something worthwhile at the deadline but if they wanna win now, they gotta waive him. Ive been a kovie supporter, but it's obvious to me that this guy rubs the team off the wrong way and does no favors for the sens. Missed a glorious open net chance tonight when the game was meaningful.

And I'm not making him a scapegoat...other changes need to be made. Like Murray going the route of sutter...time for a fresh outlook

I don't see any huge changes coming either. Those will happen this summer when Murray's contract finally expires and we find ourselves making another top 10 draft selection.

The most we'll see is Clouston getting fired.

Yeah... that is a bad one... that signing was bad to start with... a NMC makes it even worse.

I like Clouston, I really do, but the moves he's been making (or, rather, not making) have made it very difficult for me to support him. Last year's playoffs he got badly outcoached by Bylsma -- that was the first time when I really started doubting him, although there were other minor things earlier.

Too bad they don't do this at this level, but the way I'd fix it is for Murray to go behind the bench, but keep Clouston as an assistant. Murray was our best coach -- the team really played well under him -- and a year under him Clouston could learn a thing or two.

It's not going to happen, though. Too bad. There's going to be changes all around, even if they don't happen until the summer.

I was wondering why people thought Clouston was an "amazing" coach after a couple of ok seasons with the Sens.

Imagine if he was never hired. We'd still have Heatley!

Even the guys on Team 1200 were disgusted with the play tonight. Sad effort tonigt and even worse that I had to sit through it surrounded by arrogant and obnoxious leaf fans.
