What Am I Watching Right now? MAJOR BREAKING BAD SPOILERS IN HERE!

R.I.P. James Garner, he passed away at 86. Just a few days ago I was trying to introduce the boys to one of the best early '70s shows -- The Rockford Files. It's surprisingly well-preserved on Netflix (especially once I adjusted the TV aspect ratio from "full" to "pass-through" -- wasn't me who did that).

Went out to see J Timberlake. Too much talent this mofo has. And about the only pop superstar who doesn't look like a douchebag

One of the best SNL hosts around. Great in pretty much all of his skits.

Probably one of the cheapest, too, since he is both the celebrity host and the musical guest.

Yeah and his skits with Andy Samberg are Cussing hilarious

Watching "The Lottery" last night and they had a couple of scenes in and around the Olympic Stadium in Montreal (this is supposed to be in Washington D.C. so kinda fits in a weird way with the Expos now being the Nationals). Anyhow, seeing the interior corridors made me all nostalgic about the Expos.

The Killing S4 is now on Netflix.

Unfortunately we're getting into True Detective (and still have 5 episodes to go). Then other shows are beginning to pile up (we're watching an unusually high number of summer shows -- Defiance, Extant, The Lottery, Suits).

Is Extant any good?

I started Sherlock on Netflix. Terrific.

Honestly, no.  We'll watch since it's sci fi, but l'd rather they kept Defying Gravity on the air instead of this. Very similar vibes.

Yep. Have to admit, first time through S1 I wasn't into it that much, S2 was better. But then I went and rewatched S1 and enjoyed it much more.

Luther is fantastic as well.

Saw the first episode of S4 of The Killing tonight -- very good, as expected.

Trying to decide between Les Miz, Mamma Mia and Chicago. On Broadway. We've seen Phantom twice and really liked it, but keep hearing how Les Miz is better. I've seen Chicago movie, and love Bob Fosse choreography. Les Miz has fewer choices for seats (nothing in the mezzanine).

Leaning toward Les Miz since I like ALW's music. No opinions out there?

I can't stand musicals so...

Have you seen any? And I don't mean on TV. Live theater, live music -- makes a huge difference. Of course it helps if you actually like the music.

I don't like Broadway kinds of music in general. I think it's because I can't stand trumpets. Which is funny because I love the saxophone.
