I think they just got over-excited a little in 2Q and that led to a parade of penalties. Bombers got the momentum back. Frankly, I was watching with my son and -- granted, his experience with football is very, very limited -- he started wondering if all refs in all sports simply had it in for Ottawa. That delay of game when the whistle went way after the ball was thrown, for example -- I'm pretty sure I saw 2 seconds left on the clock when the snap happened, although that timer is likely a graphic inserted by the broadcaster and not the official clock -- still, if the snap was late, why weren't there flags and whistle *before* the snap? And the Bombers appeared to be offside on with their wide receivers appearing to be way across the line before the snap on several occasions.

God, I miss hockey.

I've been watching tennis for about 30 years and I've never seen a player get aces with such regularity off their second serves. Remarkable.

Kvitova was on fire, and is a beast. She won Wimbledon 2 years ago, whereas Genie is in her 2nd year as a pro. Genie will be back!!!!!!!

She needs to go to the net more. Lost a few points where she put the ball deep in a corner only to have Kvitova miraculously bit it back across to the opposite corner. If she goes to the net on those she likely wind the point because there isn't anywhere else Kvitova can play the ball and still keep it in-bounds.

I see she picked up Coca Cola as a sponsor. That was very recent. Must be tough trying to concentrate on playing while signing new contracts.

Tough game for Genie. Kvitova played like a beast. Lots of great things to come from Genie. Next up... the US Open.
