Stephane is very talented, but he will have to work hard to make the NHL. That's just DaCosta being a prospect.

Da Costa has all the NHL tools but like many have said he is very raw. He reminds me of Andy McDonald and will probably hit his stride as a professional around his mid 20's just like him as well.
The Sens need to develop him and that's exactly what they are doing.

I just wanted to make a pun.

Once this season is over (or cancelled) Daugavins, Condra, Gonchar, Alfi and some others will be on the way out and spots will open up.

Why Condra?

Yeah I like him too. Leads the AHL is short-handed goals with 3.. and the B-Sens lead the league with short-handed goals at 8... Too bad that wouldn't translate into the O-Sens>..
SpezDispenser wrote:Da Costa is on another level than everyone else. Silfverberg too, just behind him, but that'll come with experience.
Da Costa's completely outclassing everyone else though. I love Hoffman, but there's no competition between the two, ditto Petersson. Petersson has been blown completely out of the water by Silfverberg and Da Costa now.
Better start seriously considering Da Costa as a possible piece of the Sens as early as next year.

Got a nice little signing bonus and NHL money... he's 22. That's more natural than turning it up a notch.
