The Knicks.... That would blow... Maybe Amare is enough to entice him to go.

So he's gonna go to a team that's absolutely useless? This guy is a failure. Doesn't have the desire that Jordan did to win. That's why he'll probably win one championship in his lifetime and it will be off the back of other players. And that's why he shouldn't be mentioned in the same category as Jordan too.

I disagree with some of what you said... I agree that he is not Jordan but I disagree that he will win the title of the back of others... If he does win a championship he will no doubt be the MVP... He will have support of other talented players, but so did Jordan... Pippen, Rodman etc... He did have some help aswell.. Not many players win championships on their own after all it is a team game.

Jordan won championships because Jordan had the ball at the end of the game. He won championships because his ferocious competitiveness rubbed off on everyone and everything around him. He won championships because more than anything else in the world he wanted to win.

If Jordan had set up an hour-long special in his day to tell everyone what team he was signing with it would have been a black eye on the face of the league that supported him and made him one of the most recognized people in history.

Besides, LeBron has done nothing and shown nothing that supports the argument that he's capable of winning a championship. And you can use this one-hour LeBron-athon as proof that he doesn't understand how he fits in to a team and not the other way around.

The NBA lost me as a fan this offseason. Pathetic behavior by these superstars who are supposed to be ambassadors of the game.

I don't really care who goes where to be honest. I'll be behind Kobe until he retires.

haha Bill Simmons of ESPN wrote a great article about how this NBA free-agency thing is just bogus crap to inflate each player's popularity. Check out what he wrote on Chris Bosh:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/100708

8.
Red Flag No. 4: Bosh clearly wanted to emerge from this
summer more famous than he was. I know this because he hired his own
documentary crew. Because he made an "Entourage" cameo last month.
Because someone who attended one of Bosh's free-agent meetings told me
that Bosh was considerably more concerned with his camera crew than
hearing the team's pitch. Because he asked his Twitter followers where
he should play next year -- a slap in the face to everyone in Toronto
who supported him these past seven years -- and because I attended two
different 2010 Lakers games at which Bosh inexplicably walked a complete
lap around the court while holding hands with his girlfriend, like
someone who just wanted to be seen. And it worked. You see a 7-foot
basketball player strolling 0.02 miles an hour around a basketball
court, you're going to notice him.
If you want fame, then
attaching yourself to Wade and/or LeBron in a major market is the way to
go. That's what Bosh did. Orlando's Stan Van Gundy even hissed
yesterday that Bosh followed Wade around for two weeks like a "lapdog."
Doesn't sound like someone who ever seriously considered anywhere but
Miami. Add those four red flags together and it's pretty clear, in
retrospect, that Wade and Bosh never seriously looked elsewhere. You
know, because any time you can play in a city with such rich basketball
tradition, you have to do it. It's hard not to get inspired during the
national anthem when you see Rony Seikaly's number in the rafters.

Definitely. He's bang on about the conceited nature of these basketball stars. A documentary crew? give me a break. And no one will feel worse tonight than the Celveland fans. What a slap in the face to dedicated fans.

Yup... As a Raptor fan I got it easy compared to the poor fans in Cleveland that will see their dreams shattered on ESPN... They are definetly sweating it in Ohio rigth now.

Take it for what it's worth but apparently Lebron has rented 6 cabanas in South Beach for a party this weekend to celebrate his new team...

If that's not a give away I dont know what is...

I can not believe there is an entire hour on ESPN dedicated to this crap decision by LeBron. Holy mother of Cuss.

If he goes to the Heat, wow, they'll dominate like crazy.

LeBron decides to join Bosh and Wade in Miami.

Wow.

Just give them the title now.

It's over.

Bosh, Wade and LeBron on the same team? Jeezus.
