If you think these guys are scraps then I think you're asking for too much. After Hamhuis, Volchenkov, Martin, and Michalek they are good free agent options.

He's trying to sign Cullen and Sutton, not much else he can do. Unless he can make time go faster then you're SOL.

If Volchenkov get more than 3.75M regardless of term from the Sens, I will throw up in my mouth.

Will you be happy if he signs Cullen or will that not count ?

Seriously, A Train isnt a 4 million dollar player. Maybe give him the .25 extra because he's been loyal to the franchise and turned down the money, but other then that, he isnt worth it. Plus he's going to hit a slide at some point and it will be sooner then later with all the injuries the guy gets. Oh ya, zero offense.

Id rather have Michalek at the same price to be honest.

I don't think I'm wrong to be frustrated at seeing other teams make moves to clear cap space or add RFAs or re-sign UFAs while nothing happens here.

Ummm, I dont think Michalek will be an overpayment honestly. I think at first it might look like that but Michalek has the potential to actually put some offensive numebers up and at the end of the day, Michalek could actually end up looking like a 5-5.5 mil D man signed between 3.75 and 4.25 per.
