There's lots more, read the above link. iPhone has 128GB built in vs. 32 but Samsung has the micro SD slot if 32GB is not enough. iPhone also has an aluminum body (but since I'd get a case regardless, you don't really see the body).

I don't want an iPhone. My wife will have the iPhone, I'll get the Samsung S4.

S4 is a good phone. For our corporate plan it's a free upgrade (my 2 years with the BB is up). So how much could they be asking for it? Are you sure you are paying $1K for both? Seems a bit steep.

Hey, the S4 is only $20 at Costco and you get $100 Costco cash (Rogers or Bell). You get $175 back for Virgin but I don't know if that's a BC-only deal.

Yes, it's $20 on a two-year contract. I don't want a two-year contract. It works out to be cheaper and way more flexible if you buy the phone outright and put it on a monthly plan.

How much is the phone outright, and what monthly plan do you have in mind (which carrier, how much and what do you get?)

I see it for $360 at Amazon.ca so you'd have to save $15/month over the 2 year plan (and ignore interest on the $360 outlay).

Changed my mind and order an unlocked HTC One S online from the States for $130 USD on some clearance deal.

I got a good deal direct from china on 4 "TigerTec" phones (for the family) 4.7 in. screens. 18 bucks a piece.

Wind offers a $35/month plan with unlimited calling/text (Canada-wide) and unlimited data (2GB at highest available speed then they throttle you, but it's still unlimited). There's free wifi now in so many places that it's ludicrous that Bell/Rogers still charge as much as they do. Some carriers support wifi calling or you can use one of a number of apps (like Skype Out but free).
