Why is it that our corporate plan is $80/month for 1 GB? I don't ever want to pay that much.

Wireless plans in Canada are a Cussing farce, and I say this as someone that is about to go drop way over $1000 tomorrow for two phones and sign up for a sharing plan with Bell.

All I know is I know what I'm paying every month with Koodo. Not so much when i was with Telus or Rogers.

Fido has a special (until the 12th) $45/month if your bring your own phone.  Unlimited Canada wide minutes and 1GB data.

EDIT: Koodoo also has the same $45 limited time offer.

Geez, what are you getting? At least go to Costco and get $100 back for each phone. And if you don't have membership, sign up, it's less than you'll get back fro the phones.

Compare plans here:

Not sure how often they are updated so they probably don't have the "limited time offers".

They should also allow you to search plans based on getting two (or more -- family plan) phones.

How do we get money back from Costco? Are you talking about if we have the Executive membership (which we do)?

No, I just meant right now they have a deal going on where you sign up through them (they do Roger, Bell, Fido, I believe) you get up to $125 back on a Costco cash card. With the phones you are getting you'd probably get back $200 if not the full $250. So even if you *didn't* have membership you could have signed up ($65 now, or something like that) you'd recover it immediately with the Costco cash off the two phones.

Since you have a membership already it's really worth your while, especially if you'd already settled on what phone you want and which plan (and it's one of Bell/Rogers/Fido).

Actually the Costco cash you get back is not like I thought -- I thought the more you pay for the phone the more you get back. But for iPhone 6 it's only $25, while for an LG G3 on a Fido plan you get $125. And now there's another special you get up to $175 back (not sure which phone).

I take it you want an iPhone? Why, though?

http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Apple-iPhone-6,Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4/phones/8346,8577

Editor's rating: 9.3 vs. 9.0 for the Samsung. User rating is 9.5 vs. 8.8. 60% higher screen resolution (PPI), 16 MP camera (vs. 8) and optical image stabilization. Better front-facing camera. Longer lasting battery.

There's lots more, read the above link. iPhone has 128GB built in vs. 32 but Samsung has the micro SD slot if 32GB is not enough. iPhone also has an aluminum body (but since I'd get a case regardless, you don't really see the body).
