It will be interesting to see what happens with Ottawa in the next 3 months, IMO there will be a lot of changes but who knows.

I see one or two UFA D signings and the same guys on forward but with more competition with the kids and stuff.
I seriously doubt Murray won't mess with that line up. Despite losing in the 1st round, the team chemistry and general feeling from players is very good.

Again, we'll see, there are way too many players signed and holes for there not to be a decent amount of movement.

Well I thought you were talking about top 6F top 4D big shake up...
Sure, for 4th liners, It might even be a whole new line.
well that and the cap going up is significant money on the table. we all know we will be spending up to the cap.stempniaksen wrote:I think there will be a serious case of statud quo this summer.
Other than the Volchenkov thing I think we'll be going into next year with a similar roster.

I would absolutly hate to see any of Carkner, Campoli, Lee, Wiercioch or Gryba in a top-four role. And having Kuba is a way of making sure that doesn't happen.

I agree to a point but he was showing some serious stride of improvement the last 1/2. All the others I agree.

i would like to see wick in ottawa.N4L wrote:marakh wrote:WOuld say BUtler is on the top 3 line or in BIngo.
Butler is going to be the last cut along with Wick if he doesnt make the team. Wick will get every chance to make it because he wont be playing in The AHL.
stempniaksen wrote:I hope both don't make it. Room in this lineup will be scarce.
Regin - Spezza - xxxxxxxx
Cullen - Fisher - Alfredsson
Michalek - xxxxxxxx - Kovalev
Ruutu - Kelly - Neil
ex: Butler, Wick, Winchester, Smith, Shannon, Cheechoo, Foligno
2 spots for 7 guys? You can probably take Cheechoo out of the running, but every other guy there has a real shot. I would probably go with Foligno, Winchester, Shannon/Smith and let the other guys get a year of seasoning.
