Alfie didn't practice last game either so I wouldn't read much into it. He's clearly not 100%. Still hoping for the Sens to go for the cup, but at the same time a longer run will be very hard on ol' Aflie. If and when this series is over, either way, we might finally hear the extent of his injury.

Alfie's a warrior.

Praise Alfie.

See stuff like this has me thinking that Bylsma studied our game tapes so well and has the Pens set up to contain us in their zone and Clouston is either unable or unwilling to go to "Plan B" and throw a monkeywrench in their game plan.

They really tightened up after Game 1.

He did for sure. This is a guy that studies championship teams who repeated all summer so he could best prep his players.

He definitely took the Sens gametapes from the last couple of months and poured over them. Clouston is the same way though, he'll sleep at SBP apparently, so why is he not responding? Or does he not have the personal capable of driving the net? I find that hard to believe. Z.Smith, Winchester, Ruutu, all these guys should be given shots at creating offense in the top 6 by driving. You don't get to the net, you play 4th line, is that incentive enough?

Okay, it's been a fun season guys. I appreciated chatting with all of you, we can prepare to examine off-season moves such as the draft and free agency very soon. PLAYOFF GAME DAY: Game 5: Ottawa Senators (1) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (3) - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Apr. 22nd, 2010 - Page 10 489887

I have a weird feeling that Ottawa wins tonight. Seems quite improbable given the last four games, but something just tells me we win tonight. No idea why.

Donovan in for Cheechoo.

Leclaire came in to a very difficult situation Tuesday and now he gets a chance to play a full game and I am confident he is going to succeed. As George Michael said "You gotta have faith".

Shannon, then Cheechoo now Donovan. At least everyone's getting a shot. Donovan's a guy that will work hard, not that the other two didn't, but he's also more of a 4th line player. Little ice time but will do a lot in those few minutes.

GO SENS GO.

There is no chance Ottawa wins this series. I'm not telling people something they dont already know.

You know, at the end of the day, I don't care that the don't have a shot at winning (well, I do but that's for another day). At this point, all I'm hoping for is that they go down fighting.

I kinda do as well, but I'm fully prepared to be disappointed. PLAYOFF GAME DAY: Game 5: Ottawa Senators (1) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (3) - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Apr. 22nd, 2010 - Page 10 54934
