All Playoff talk all the time.

No chance Crosby is shut down in crunch time like Ovechkin. I'm not counting Montreal out completely, but let's just say it was a nice run and what they did to Washington will not be soon forgotten.

Lets review shall we:

Pittsburgh has the worst team GAA of any team in round 2. 3.17 GAA
Pittsburgh has the second worst PK of any team in round 2. 68.2%


Sure Montreal's GAA isn't much better at 3.14 GAA but they faced Ovechkin, Backstrom et al. where as Pittsburgh faced a hobbled Ottawa team.
Montreal's PK is 97% vs. the best PP in the league (Regular season)

Of the remaining goalies in round two only Luongo has a worse GAA than MAF (2.75 GAA) coupled with a round two worst 0.890 save percentage.

Halak is at 2.46 with an off the charts 0.939 save percentage that is only bested by Boucher's unreal 0.940 save percentage.

How's this for you from a Habs fan. I went to Timmies at lunch and there was a guy behind me in the drive through with a Habs flag on his car. (I have a Sens Flag on mine) I looked in my side mirror and could see him and his ugly wife and daughter laughing. I ignored them and drove off, he drives up behind me honking and pulls up beside me and continues to honk. I look over and he couldn't even look at me. Come on! Really? Unbeliveable. Another reason why I hate Habs fans so much. I will give them their props for winning this series, but they act like they've won the Cup already. Little do they know what they are about to face. I can't stand that Dung. I'm keeping my flag on my car because I am still very proud of the Sens and I am a true fan. I will leave it there forever. There is no reason for me to take it down, I'm not going to pout because we got beat by a better team and take it down. Why don't other fans mind their business? I've been honked at quite a bit this week for that reason. It's very annoying.

I'm not sure what to think. If the Habs can pump in 4 goals per game I think they're set. I'm not sure if Fleury has it this year and Halak is definitely in the zone. That being said, the experience that Pittsburgh has over Washington is not even close. They've been there and done that and know what it takes to win. The Habs don't know yet and the Caps definitely did not have the experience needed to get through this year. I don't even know how they made it to the ECF last year to be honest. There's a lot of work to do over there.

Habs fans are notorious for their arrogance and sense of entitlement.

You have every right to keep your flag out there. Being a fan is a year-round commitment. I'm more interested in knowing about Roman Wick's contract offer than I am about the outcome of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The only news is that he's been selected to the World Championship team for SUI, but he has a rib injury that could keep him out.

I thought Murray offered him a contract yesterday...I'm surprised they don't say anything about that in there. I'm curious to see what happens with him, hopefully he signs.

Sure. Throw them out if you like but it's still an indicator. If you don't want to look at the stats then look at the goals MAF let in vs. the goals Halak let vs. the goals Elliott let in. Do you honestly believe Crosby will get 14 points or more in round two from sheer will and "wanting it more" - ishness?

Crosby, Hank Sedin, and Ovechkin are the Hart finalists.

I think either Sedin or Crosby will win it.

Skew it any way you want, but Crosby's good for 1.5 points per game, so, he'll have around 8 points in 5 games and so on. All the Hal Gills and Halaks in the world won't stop that.
