OMG, I am so stoked now. Got home late. Knew the Sens were down late in the third. Watched the last 4 minutes of the third on the PVR. I was pretty sure they didn't score on the PP from hearing the tail end on the radio. But that look on Spezza's face before the face off, something told me this was it. Wow.

Karlsson gets us the one point we needed for the clinch, the Kovie and Spezza get the extra point in the shoot out.

Maybe not Elliott's best game (although not much he can do on that third goal, but he kept it close -- could have easily gone 4-2 -- then shut the door in the SO.

I have to ask, though, what the hell was Alfie doing on his shootout attempt? Goes way wide left, then tries to do a forehand to backhand move? There was nothing to shoot at.

No matter, I guess, but next time, if I'm Clouston, I put a different Swede in there.
