He's saying that because we're losing Volchenkov and he wants people's attention on other things. I can't think of another reason Gryba wouldn't play a full year in the AHL.

Also, in the Sun article, I think there was a quote from Murray where he said he hoped to have more signings by the end of the week? Does he mean finalizing Wiercioch and Gryba, or does he mean he's got more to announce (Sutton please!?)?

Wiercioch, whose top- ranked team was eliminated by Butler’s

There was a smiliar quote in yesterdays paper about that too. I have a feeling he has more up his sleeve.

Who could more be?
I assume we're not talking about NHL players like Sutton (please) or Cullen (please), so perhaps Caporruso (sp), Greening, Grant etc? Perhaps it's Roman Wick, there's a lot of talk about the Sens closing in on signing the former prospect. That would be huge.

Wiercioch has agreed to the contract in principle, he's taking care of some personal issues before getting to Ottawa to finalize it (according to Murray on the Team).

Hoffman will be joining the team as soon as his season is done. They've had their eye on him for quite a while now, and he's impressed them incredibly. He'll have a spot in Bingo as soon as he's done in the Q.

Wiercioch plays like Tyler Myers. Tall, skinny, great skating, good shot and nice vision
Gryba, never seen but some dudes are saying he`s kinda like Sutton.
