Karlsson with another horrible game. He is -3 on the afternoon. I am starting to wonder it might be best to have him watch a game or two, as this schedule is twice as long as what he is used to. This strategy made Stamkos pretty awesome in his second year.

Leclaire=Gerber. So much natural skill, but half the time you are wondering what the #(* he is doing. Like Gerber, I think he just distracts the rest of his teammates.

Karlsson, has indeed been brutal. He ha sot compete a lot harder then he is. Absolutlely awful his last few games. I agree, sitting him is a good idea at this point.

Leclaire looks awful, he is all over the place, and thats all about practice. Back to Elliott I guess.

Winchester had a great chance there to tie it up.

Dallas just makes it look so easy. 5-3

Trevor Daley's been awesome. Makes me wish those rumours were true.

Leclaire out - Elliott in.

Leclaire is done, he wont be finding his game this year. Elliott is 100% their guy whether some people like it or not. No way this team goes anywhere with that kind of goaltending. There wasnt one game when Elliott has been that bad.

Well, they keep this up and we'll be getting a better pick this year.

That was Leclaire's last shot, at least on most nights Elliott gives the team a shot to win. Leclaire wont be finding his game this year.

Karlsson was on for that last goal, as well. Is he -4 now? The fifth goal was a powerplay marker. Those are scary numbers.

That last shot was pretty much a perfect shot, but if he's out another foot there's no angle to make the perfect shot. Plus the slash on Ruutu that led to the giveaway that led to the goal. Ruutu couldn't sell it, I guess.

Unless Elliott Dung the bed for the next 3 games I dont see how Leclaire gets another start this year. You just cant depend on the guy.

Spezza's hatty brings them within 1. Karlsson draws a penalty so sens have a 6-4 chance to tie.

Damn, too little to late.

On the bright side, the Sens have now scored 7 goals in 2 games, and the powerplay is showing some signs of life.

What a waste of a great game from The Sens for the most part. This one was goaltending. Leclaire, well, 11 goals against his last 2 games... Elliott or bust the rest of the way.

This is not a knee-jerk reaction, I've thought about this for a while:

I would waive Leclaire tomorrow morning and hope that someone needs some insurance for the playoffs. If he clears waivers, I would keep him on the Sens roster, if he gets picked up, I'll call up Brodeur. We need to clear this clowns money off next year's cap.

I thought they played well for most of the game but a lapse at the end of the 2nd period cost them this game. A save at a big moment would have been nice though and it seems as though Leclaire is definitely a guy that can't give you that. Elliott is the man now that Leclaire blew it for what I think is his last opportunity this year. Just a sickening game but on the bright side they did do a lot of positive things in this game. Just one or 2 big saves and they would have won that game I think.
