I dont think Murray keeps him around man, the playoffs are important for sure, but how much different is Ward then A Train for 3 months? Not a whole lot. He has all the expierence A Train does, plays the same exact game, will be paired with Phillips so on. There are enough D in Ottawa that will challenge for a spot, in all honesty, A Train isnt a huge loss. If you can get a 1st and prospect for him, like I said in August, you should probably do it.

He will be dealt to the highest bidder IMO, who that will be? Not sure but San Jose looks primed to be that place, maybe LA.

Washington, LA, and Chicago are the only three teams I can see him going to. If Ottawa thought they had a legit chance at a cup they'd go for Chicago and get a roster player. Otherwise it's picks and prospects at this time a year

San Jose, they have their 1st rounder still, some decent prospects up front (2 former 67's as well), that would be my guess right now, but LA might try and out bid them, especially considering they may meet in the first round.

Z.Michalek will be watching this A-Train scenario with great interest.

Although, apparently it's not just talk, he loves the Yotes organization and players and staff. So he'll probably sign for just under 4 million and be done with it.

The guy Murray might go balls out to sign next year is Hamius. The guy has every tool and can defently be a guy that can play a top 2 role. He's not a number 1 guy but IMO, def a number 2. This is an off season move though.

Murray's best bets might to LA for a 1st and Moeller, something along those lines.

I predict we sign him for 4 X 4. We'll see.
