It should be another good test. Pens are winners of 5 of their last 7 and of course we all know the Sens 7-0 in their last 7. Both teams playing at the top or near the top of their games. I'm hoping that Elliott can hold us in their and frustrate the Pens should we need him to do so. He was ridiculously good in the Chicago game vs. Kane, Toews, Hossa, Campbell, Keith, Seabrook and so on so I have faith he'll be able to shut down the Pens.

I realize it's in Pittsburgh, but I get Neil, Kelly, Ruutu out against Gonchar as much as possible and tell them that I don't care if they score, but every time they cross center to dump it into Gonchar's corner and send 2 human missals in to pound him into submission.

Gonchar is the key to this team...make him run and hide and they will struggle.

You certainly don't need to tell Neil and especially Ruutu to go for a hit instead of the puck.

The other key is Malkin. He has his way with the Sens. Assuming they can continue to shut down Crosby the next big key is Malkin on the front end anyway.

It's easy to feel that way with 20 plus shots from the perimeter with no traffic in front. We took down Thomas, then we took down Brodeur - Next up? MAF.

So did The Toolman and Fraudeur. It was never them, it was us. Same goes for Fleury or whoever will replace him when he gets yanked tonight. GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Pittsburgh Penguins - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Jan. 28. 2010 - Page 7 159628

Go Sens Go or Go Gee Go as my 16 month old daughter always says. One of these days she'll get it right.

That and the Alfie injury. Je me souviens. Lest we forget. I seek revenge. No man, woman, nor child will touch my captain so. And for at least the rest of the season, retribution must be sought.

Cooke, or whoever it was that hit Alfie should feel it every time he steps out on the ice vs. the Sens as much as possible of course.

Lets keep pace with the Caps and tie our franchise record of 8 straight W's. Perfect situation to break that record? How about a Saturday afternoon game vs. the rival Habs in Ottawa? OK. Done and done. Now it's up to the Sens to set the table tonight. Ahhhhh!

Malkin, Crosby, Gonchar... Nah. They do nothing against the Sens.

The Sens killers are Jordan Staal, Matt Cooke and Tyler Kennedy, arguably the best 3rd line in the league. They remind me of Pahlsson, Niedermayer and Moen during the cup finals.

I would just cycle the puck until the shift is over if I were the Kelly Line against that line.

Regin and Shannon on the 4th line?

They're completely interchangeable.

This is Clouston we're talking about, lines at practice aren't necessarily what we'll roll come game time.

They've gone a bit cold lately, once they get on the board again they'll be back up.

However, why isn't Cheechoo still with Fisher? They formed a nice line.

Well he said in the interview that it was part of the game plan, so we night see that to start the game.
