No photoshop. Did this on my laptop. No mouse, the buttons around the touchpad sucked so bad the first half dozen attempts I plain missed; then the only one I managed to club got this:

You should make a new thread with this game, so I can sticky it and we can see who scores what.

I tried about 30 times since then and I think I whacked that penguin maybe 3 times. I'm telling you, the mouse matters. I'll bet if you use a really expensive one you will consistently get higher scores (but you still need dumb luck to get a really high score).

By the way, do the land mines move randomly? The closest one definitely does, and if this means that so do the other ones then forget about it.

Caps won again. If they are still undefeated when we next meet up I think they'll be on something like a 15-game winning streak. Yikes.

I just got 1261.5. It was so funny, it landed directly on a mine every single time until it just ran out of forward momentum. Laughing3

Okay, well I can't even get 900 on this computer, so Prager might be onto something.

Things to remember from last game:

1. we got smoked 8-2
2. They intentionally took out Alfie
3. Their commentators are the worst
4. I was at the game with my son and was told "go back home to Ottawa!" - classless fans

I almost hate Pittsburgh as much as the Leafs. They are a dirty team that intentionally goes out to injure. (remember Cook's knee on knee to Neil that took him out 3 games ago and Alfie last game?)

REVENGE!

I'd almost forgotten about that. However, score some goals first. Revenge is best when served with a side of victory.

Murray and the players said much of the credit for getting the Senators where they are, fifth in the Eastern Conference heading into Wednesday's games, goes to current coach Cory Clouston.

Clouston disagrees, however.

"This has nothing to do with me," he said. "This is the guys going out there and playing hard.

Uh-oh. Players and coach not on the same page? Sarcasm

GM Brian Murray speaks to the media: http://senators.nhl.com/v2/ext/Audio/100127_Murray.mp3

Murray sees similarity to the 06/07 season with the structured play
Likes the way we survived the injuries
Everyone contributed
Great deal of credit to coaches but also like the way the players stepped up
If things stay as is it will be an exciting team down the stretch
Looks like young guys have grown into some nice rolls
Kovalev has been good for the most part - credits him for Fisher and Regin's improved play. Demands respect which provides a presence on the ice.
Goaltending - Bad play in front of them was a big contribution to the failures
Believes Leclaire will get back to playing well just as Elliott has
Little cap room due to injuries so dollars in and out
Nothing to report on A-train contract but wants him for a fair deal
Murray is happy with this team even if nothing done at deadline if we stay healthy

Clouston Speaks to the media: http://senators.nhl.com/v2/ext/Audio/100127_Clouston.mp3

Kovalev and Cheechoo flipped in order to change matchups
Standings not a motivation right now. Just play well and try to win
Felt the last Pens win was a lot of Murphy's law and Sens couldn't do anything right
Be solid defensively, play to our strengths
Kovalev isn't doing a lot different but is capitalizing now and his passes are turning into goals now. Playing smart and being creative.
Winchester is close to return not cleared yet
Appreciates the depth the Sens are showing right now.
Clouston pushing all the credit of the system and the wins on the players and of course great goaltending. Couldn't ask more from Elliott.

Could this be a first round playoff preview? It would be the third time in the last 3 playoffs for the Sens if it were to happen. It's really looking likely that the worst the Sens will do is 5th so possibly a Pens vs. Sens or Devils vs. Sens first round. I thought I knew which I'd prefer but both have their advantages. The Devils matchup would be allow the Sens easier matchups due to the lack of offensive power where the Pens would possibly be tired due to the number of games they've played the last couple seasons. Also the Sens are quite familiar with the Pens having faced them in their last two playoff runs.
