Karlsson's (not surprisingly) struggling a little in the defensive zone tonight. Hopefully they won't put him out against Staal again, and hopefully his puck-moving picks up so he doesn't have to spend too much time in the defensive end.

They made up for it by not calling that "too many men" penalty that Kuba created just before they reentered the zone and scored...Can anyone tell me why he's still on the 1st unit?

Also, does Spezza score from above the goal line anymore? I swear, at least 20% of his goals in 2009 have come from behind the red line. If more were going in from in front of the net, I wouldn't say anything about it, but it's like his defacto move now (other than throwing to an empty point.
