I was just going to praise Auld, too.

He's a big dude, and he moves pretty quickly, especially laterally. If he plays as well as he did last year for Boston for us, we might have made a very good pick up with Auld.

He's already in my good books for this performance. This is the most pathetic little team ever assembled. And I don't mean it in a mean way, but this is not a team, it's a scrimmage. And not a well played one at that.

I hope Hartsburg is getting his notes out of this one, because it could still turn into the Boston/Montreal game.

Look at the team we are fielding. Vermette is on the top line with Shannon and Foligno. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I put next to no stock into preseason games to be honest.

I can't believe I'm saying this...but I'm probably home for the third, but if I'm not...I can't imagine watching any more of this. It's a tad bit of a joke.

Well its verbal. Someone told me. I don't know how to verify their knowledge if they said they can't tell me who told them.

What he also said is that Alfredsson's injury might be more serious than initially thought. So Sundin is a replacement of sorts in the interim, and then when Alfredsson is ready to play, he plays.
