They should look at that Ovie hit too from last night. He jumped into Picard and got him square in the head...was it Picard? Now I can't remember who it was.

Are you sure you didn't get hit in the head? Dan Briere suspended 2 games for hit to head 159628

Good to see he won't be getting away with it. Too bad he won't get to face Hannan soon though, I'm sure he'd like to hand out his own form of punishment.

The way it actually happened, Briere came after him after he scored, and leaped into him with his stick, catching him in the head/face/neck. Hannan dropped to the ice afterwards.

Nice to see the NHL finally take action against Briere. I have always found him to be cowardly on the ice.

We'll see if the NHL continues to do the right thing if they suspend Nash for the hit from behind tonight.

You really want to take out dirty hits in this game? Fine the team.
