Heh.

Nothing quite like the feel of the kick back from a shotgun against your shoulder... or the sound of an M-50 machine gun.... or an old FN... or setting your C7 rifle to fully automatic and letting it fly....

Wicked stuff.

What was that Stewie once said:

This is my rifle
This is my gun
One is for fighting
One is for fun

Stewie ripped it from Full Metal Jacket...

Great movie.

Great movie.

Was it really in FMJ? It's been a very, very long time since I saw that. I remember a "this is my rifle" speech (the Sarge?) but don't remember any of their marching

Anyhow, Stewie's is more recent and (arguably) more memorable. He even Jackson'd his crotch on "gun", too, IIRC.

Sorry, just found the clip on youtube. Yep, they were grabbing their crotches, too, in FMJ. My bad for not remembering, I guess it's true what they say about the first thing to go with age.

P.S. The second thing to go with kids is your sanity. The first one is your wallet.

So far the wallet is taking a very insignificant hit for me Smile My wife is back at work but, so far, daycare is free, aside from providing (sometimes breakfast) lunch and dinner for my mother-inlaw and my parents.

Of course things could change and they may find it's too much. She'll also get more expensive as she gets older too.

Nice. Free daycare is good. Daycare is expensive man. Like another mortgage. Damn kids cost a lot of money.
Wow.

Which is exactly why I try to tell them often that it's really appreciated and that it's such a great thing to have family raise our little one.

Wow.

Yup. My last daycare experience ran about 1000 bucks a month for one kid.

I'm very aware of how good we have it right now. My parents or my mother inlaw come to our place so we don't have to wake up our daughter in the morning, she doesn't have to go to some place new and it allows us to get into work early and home early as well. Everything is familiar except the fact Mom and Dad aren't home.

Holy crap!!! That's a little too sweet. You anger me.

Waking up my daughter is easily the hardest part of my whole morning. Sens opening night roster for the 2009/10 season - Page 8 668437

wish we had the issue of having to wake up our youngest - he generally gets up at 4:30-5:30 on his own, and expects everyone to get up with him. This despite going to bed at 8:30 (he's 2-1/2...)
