The announcement - whatever it is... is at 3:00 pm.

Team 1200 this morning said it's going to be Richardson.

I'm surprised to see him make such a move (if indeed true). Not because he isn't a good choice, but for personal reasons - being away from his family, and the charity organization.

His daughter is attending school nearby at Colgate University. It actually makes sense for him.

Apparently, its also to be close to family (his daughter is going to college nearby I think so it made sense for him to make a temporary move)

Great choice. That brings a ton of stability to the organization on a lot of levels. Also, good for him being close to his daughter and family for the next 4 years.

Nice to see. Luke is 100% what the Sens represent and will be a great stabilizing force in Bingo. Hopefully this will ensure the same type of system is taught in Bingo as it is in Ottawa to make for smoother transitions up and down the line.

They have a great sports rivalry with Crest College.

I'm happy for Richardson, but at the same time I hope he has a solid system in mind. This is an extraordinarily important position for the Sens organization with top young talent not only developing there, but also being prepared to step into the NHL as a call-up at any moment.

Hopefully MacLean had input into this decision and agrees.

Stirling is staying on as assistant coach. Good move.
