Literally, this guy is so unwanted he went back to the place where he is hated the most and signed such a small deal I question if he could make more in Russia.

Another year on a non playoff team for this plug.

comrie has everything to prove if he wants to get a bigger contract or prove he can be effective he is going to have to have an amazing year in edmonton

Comrie is a fixture on a garbage teams 2nd line. The guy is too slow to be that small in the NHL. Like I said about a month ago, this guy will be out of the league by the time he is 30.

yea but if he has a good year despite what we think he will probably get a larger contract next year

Comrie at that price would have been a bargain in a normal circoumstance (sp), but the guy is just injury prone and it has affected his performance.

What a ridiculous contract. It all kinda took a back seat to the Rookie Game (sorry Comrie Smile ), but that's just silly. 1.1 million? We could have taken that risk - and no, don't ask me where he would have played.
