(copied over from the round 3 thread)

Colorado has two backups, so unless they make a deal they are going to
split the games (maybe even bring in a third to split them even more).
Plus that team is only going to win, like 35 games, max.

On the Island, we know that DiPietro is their #1. We also know he's >this< close to forced retirement.

Toronto
is another weird situation. Toskala should be good for about a .500
percentage, but we're not scoring a point for OT losses, he's not going
to get many shutouts, and Burke will be pushing The Monster as much as
he can. Toskala is probably not going to get much more than 45 starts.
Still, in later rounds, he could be a pick if you're desperate.

Sorry, Blazer, but using the word "annoying" kinda precludes you from the right to expect no offense. Is this really supposed to be a sterile draft where you aren't allowed to express your opinion or, perhaps, ask for validation on some line of thinking?

I used to run a pool at work for many years. We'd meet over an extended lunch and do the draft in about an hour and a half. Nobody ever complained if there were side discussions going on, just as long as you were ready with your pick when your time came. Has anyone had to wait on my pick yet? Now *that* can really be annoying.

Talk about players AFTER They have been drafted. I do not think that is too much to ask. And I am sorry if you have had to wait about 30 mins to 1hr for my picks...

okay guys simmer down, the last threads I have seen with this draft have had loads of side talk, most of it concerning players being drafted and this is the 1st time I have seen a complaint. I am not dismissing your complaint Blazer, please feel free to discuss that further with one of the co founders or mods, but please do not do it here, takes away from the spirit of the board. Also, for the record, I don't believe Prags was demaning anyone for being late with their picks, just stating how pools he has ran in the past have been run. Thanks gents.

Blazer, I never said I was annoyed with waiting for your picks. All I meant was , that I've been in many, many pool drafts where discussions about players were going on all over the place, and the only time anyone would complain was when that discussion was seen to lead to someone not being prepared for their pick. Although in most cases, those discussions actually led to faster picking.

Oh, and analyzing a player after he has been drafted is sometimes not strictly positive. Friendly trash-talk, perhaps, but some could take offense.

Anyhow, I'm done with this. Where's BigRig77?
