shall we see that middle jersey at the new sens shop in SBP? guess we shan't be getting rid of this guy, so seeing him in our lineup this coming year is a reality and Murray has some work to do to get back under the cap, when is the deadline again?

Prags, that's awesome. Gotta love Photoshop. AS for Heatley, I still believe Murray will pull the trigger just before camp.

I can't take credit for it. It was used in another Sens blog -- the blog itself was "meh" but you know what they say about a picture's worth.

Laughing3 That one works too! I'm surprised this didn't come out earlier.

THN is becoming less and less a magazine to take seriously. It's still mega-interesting, but they've become a 'what have you done for me recently' magazine, instead of properly examining the talent on any individual team and reporting on that properly.

At least they aren't as hilariously inaccurate as FOXsports' NHL section.

Here are a couple recent headlines from the site:
Senators' captain gets invite to Canadian Olympic Camp (referring to Spezza)
Ducks get rising young F Artyukhin from Tampa

:^^^^:

Their recent article on the Northeast also suggests that the Sens and Leafs are near the same talent level. I won't speak to whether they are the same calibre as teams, but in terms of talent? Spezza, Kovalev, Heatley, Alfredsson vs. ????

I swear, I didn't even realize Fox covered hockey (and it certainly appears that they don't). Wow. Facepalm Laughing3

the thought that people needed a line so they knew where the puck was is funny but especially since they had to differentiate between a shot and a pass

The Fox Track-Puck. I remember it changing colours as it hit a certain speed. So, if it went say, blue, you'd know it was a fast shot.

I can understand wanting to make the game more friendly to non-fans, but this is borderline insulting someone's intelligence.

I agree fully, ask someone in the US how they would feel if they put that same tracking on a football, or say a NASCAR race, they would think you are a big butthead for even suggesting it.

Pretty much, yeah. I must say...I adore the lineup with him in it. I don't like him anymore, but I like the thought of a sniper with a ridiculous snap shot wreaking havoc with Spezza, Kovalev, Alfie, Fisher ( FingersCrossed ), Foligno.

Meh, Alfredsson takes a huge hit from Beauchemin at center Ice, heatley Drops the gloves and lose another teeth. I can tell you half of SBP will wake up the nect morning with no memories of heatley asking for a trade. :^^^^:
