Man screw the Rangers. Why do we have an interest in Dubinsky anyway? We're going to have to sign him to like a 3-4 million contract, and we still don't have a top line winger. We need to bring in someone who can score... If we're trading the farm for Dubinsky, I want AT LEAST Del Zotto and Their 1st.

Agreed Jordo. The Rangers are probably the worst trading partner for us. Nothing I want in a package that can compare to Heatley.

Obviously there is a package that would be equal, but good luck getting Dubinsky, Staal/Del Zotto and Grachev and a 1st from them.

Senschirp just updated saying that Murray would want Dubinsky signed at a max of 2M and would include a salary dump of Smith or Schubert.

I personally have no love for a Dubinsky/Rozival deal, but I didn't get the GM job.

I was hoping we wouldn't have been debating this at this point in time, so close to the season, what went from this being the dream deal that would set this team up for a few years, but instead, it was a mediocre offer from the Oilers, Heatley did not waive, and he is still here and we face the real possibility that we will get a lot less than the team deserves for Heatley or he will be playing as a Sen this year.

No way you deal with the Rangers now without getting either Dubinsky or Staal, one of the Russian prospects on F and their 1st round pick from next year (as they'll be in the running for a top 10 pick).

That said, I don't mind the Roszival/Dubinsky swap. Still want one of the two Russians or their 1st.

dude. i love the buffalo trade! just to have Roy! he's an awesome center and we could finaly put fisher at wing... could be killer! i guess nobody thinks this could happen? may i ask why? i know Buff is probably not on heatleys list but it's not that far of a possibility, when they miss the playoffs it's only by a few.

i do not give to dungs about a deal with the rangers. i don't want dubinsky or roz. i doubt they want to part with stall and i'd want calahan, their russian prospect (artem), del zoto and a 1st!

seriously, if it's Dubinsky...then we're saving money for Comrie....if there's more, then make it prospects...why do we need another Dman (other than stall)?

The deal with Buffalo that included Tyler Myers as well? Hahahah. I'm not joking when I say that Buffalo wouldn't part with Myers for anything.

We need a 1A. Rozy is a good 3rd D-man - he'd be great with Kuba - but he's expensive and a little unnecessary.

Yeah. I guess I keep assuming Smith is in. If Murray has shown interest in Vlasic and Roszival, he must already know what's going on there.

It boggles the mind...

That's assuming all those "reports" of the Rangers being interested are true. And if they are, then we're surely taking back salary.
