The Heatley Saga: What's in store in the next 30 days?

OK, so I finally did it. I Googled SensChirp.

I have to say, he doesn't have the greatest track record from what I can see.

The split on this site is pretty 50/50. Some say he is just a Sens blogger who is out for the hits. Others say he has his sources and is pretty accurate.

What I do know is Ottawa as an organization doesn't leak info out to the fans. They actually leak false rumors out to different employees to try and see who may or may not blabber things to press/bloggers/fans.

I agree, however of all the bloggers out there he does seem the most reliable, never asks for money, does regular updates, and admits if he is hearing rumors or wether he believes something to be true. he has been right more often than wrong, and has been first in, many times. he is the first place i check after tsn.

well if we can get someone to replace kelly at half the price, who can score, and is just as good then i am all for it if we can move kelly...i just dont want to add another bottom 6 unless another top 6 is coming.

So... SensChirp is also saying the latest SJ offer is Cheechoo, Vlasic, Joslin, McGinn and a pick of some kind...

This is getting insane.

This is a great thing for Murray that teams like Buffalo are showing interest, even if the chances of Heatley going there are roughly the same as me getting with Natalie Portman tonight. As long as the pressure is on, the teams will have to pony up. Hopefully Regier and Sather put the heat on Wilson.

Wilson should have offered Michalek, Vlasic and Couture to begin with and this all would have been settled.

Brennan is one of the "Three Amigos" of the Ottawa Sun Sports Section -- the other being Garrioch (Boo-boo) and Chris Stevenson. He is the one who called Heatley a "suck hole", coined the nickname "Uh-oh" for Corvo (I think) and recently posted the "48 hours" blog saying how a source said Heatley will be traded within two days.
