We can't keep him with our Cap situation next year (2010/11). I don't think Heatley has the personality to be able to come back to the Sens and produce at a high level. I believe he would go into a shell and his production and effort (lack of effort) would be worse.

Not sure why he keeps doing it. I haven't even needed to start roaming my IP addresses yet.

No, I understand that. I have always been under the impression that if we are in the playoffs at the deadline, he stays until draft day.

If we are out of the playoffs at the deadline, he is gone then.

No one wants you around, that's why. Pretty simple.

Therefore he is off the books before next year either way.

Gonna be a pain in the but(t) getting rid of me.

Still can't wait to see who our goalies are in 2024 though. Way to backtrack from that post.

So, you're going to just keep posting and making new accounts? WOW, you must get very little attention from anyone with a face.

That looks like:

San Jose: Marleau + Cheechoo fpr Heatley
Edmonton: Visnovsky, Cogliano, 1st for Marleau and Smith
Ottawa: Heatley, Smith for Cheechoo, Visnovsky, Cogliano, 1st

Ottawa clears about $200K in that, but we are still over the cap (since we were before we signed Elliott). Obviously we have some 2-way salaries we could move (Lee, Regin, Bass) and given that we're moving 1 forward and getting two back, it means Regina and likely Bass are in Bingo.

I don't like that, but it would appear that moving Heatley for cap room and picks is not an option any more.

I love the idea of Smith heading back to Edmonton, I've got to admit that.

🇬🇬 You're like a Wang-roach. Unreal.

I will say that I'm learning how to do all sorts of fun stuff through Forummotion though, which...probably doesn't help me in real life, but helps here. cool)

I just dont get why someone would try so hard to be such an idiot... it's like he's a science project at this point.
