Too negative?

no, not at all negative Shabbs, its true, most people know he is a one trick pony and they stop that one timer, time to adapt if he wants to score 50 again.
yep, cause they are in tough against Hungary...SensFan71 wrote:boom and its a 6-1 win to start the tourney, could have been better, but they turned it up a notch in the 3rd. Bring on the next opponent.

Easy there jam... the reason we're talking about those two now is because... they were playing in the game we were watching.jamvan wrote:I think Heater and Spezza were one of only a few bright spots this year. Let's not forget everyone's point totals were hurt under teh Hartsburg regime.
I don't understand why the negativity is always centered around those two. What about Kelly? What about Neil? What about Phillips for that matter? All had brutal years compared to those before them. 39 goals, is still a pretty decent tally in today's NHL, not to mention Spezza's 32.
The Sens are going to be just fine. Trust me, those bandwagons will be full again next year.
I wasn't coming down on anyone. Each game is different, each play is different. IT's not a video game, it's real life and these NHLers adapt and change all the time. I just don't think sayin gteams are onto Spezza and Heatley that way is true in any fashion whatsoever.shabbs wrote:Easy there jam... the reason we're talking about those two now is because... they were playing in the game we were watching.jamvan wrote:I think Heater and Spezza were one of only a few bright spots this year. Simple as that.
I was reflecting on the patented Heater "send me the puck so I can one-time it" move that is not so effective in the NHL anymore.
This was not a re-evaluation of the Sens' performance this year.

Note to Heater: We need a shaking fist emoticon please. :D:
