I'm playing around with Paint.net (thanks, Tuk) and a plugin from Simon B to work on animated GIFs. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the transparent background while resizing. I'll try to fix that up.

Here, how does this look?



Not sure if that's transparent or just white (the instructions in response to questions about transparency said to set background to white, so who knows -- I'd have to have a non-white background to know for sure).

Too bad it loses so much detail when reduced. I tried saving it as a PNG before reducing (on the Paint.net messageboard, that's what the recommended) but it wasn't any better. The smiley was created with just a little too much detail (the mouth moves, the eyebrow/eye move) to be so small.
