Nice blog dude. I seriously don't know how you find the time. Great sampling of what's going on with the Sens around the Internet world. That Saturday game gave me memories of the old Dominant Sens teams. As for that Jersey - I've said it before. I like everything about it EXCEPT the word SENS on the front. ANY logo on there would have been better. The newer profile logo would have been kick Donkey. I bought a hat with that logo recently and I love it.

What does the (arguably) best team in the NHL need with a 43-year-old who hasn't played in 6 years? To borrow a term from TV show circles, did they just "Jump the Shark"?

Just read how it went down:

Except Price wasn't there to stop it, and parts of the
sellout Bell Centre crowd of 21,273 booed for a long time after the
goal and chanted O'Byrne's name in derision as the Canadiens filed off
the bench toward the dressing room.

That was the goal that tied it -- in other words they could have been up by 2 if they scored on the PP.

I saw the highlights, it was brutal. He skated the puck back into his zone, and should have noticed that Price wasn't in net. It looked like a paniced play with a forechecker draped all over him.

He'll be hearing it from the Habs faithful today no doubt.

As for Lemieux, whaaat!?? Shocking.

It's funny that I bet on the Islanders to win on my proline ticket. And I literally shouted "Anything Can Happen" when I saw him score into his own net.
