GDT - Game #37: Sens @ Caps, Jan 1, 2017, 7:30 pm

Chabot is certainly having a coming out party. If they manage to beat the Swedes I'll just go ahead and assume it will be on the strength of another goal and assist or two from Chabot. Chabot has 3+4=7 with two games to go, third on the team in scoring. He's playing in all situations.

Not sure about all this spoon and gloom. We're right in the mix and will only get better when Smith, Anderson, and Mac are back.

Not only that, we played a Cup contender very well.  Not upset about where we're at.

The spoon and gloom is because we list the straight before or bye week, one team was tied with us on points, and two more were within three. There was a legitimate chance we would be out of a playoff spot before we got back on the ice.

Also, there is no guarantee Anderson will be back anytime soon and, if he is, that he will be effective. Same goes for Mac.

You'd think. But these posts were all from June 2015, just after Lazar's first NHL season.
