So we have Puempel in for Varone and Hammond in for Anderson. I guess Chabot sits tonight and plays tomorrow.

How sick was that Pyatt goal, by the way. Great plays by Dzingel and Pageau to set that up.

My prediction for Puempel is about 9 minutes of ice time and zeros across the stat sheet.

You read my tweet on that, right? It was Matthewsesque.
(And you can imagine how many times I had to type that to get it past the spellchecker.)
Seriously, though, it was very similar to Matthews' 4th goal except it was nowhere near to a clear two-on-one and that was a back-hand pass through two defenders. If that wasn't in the highlights of the night it would be a shame.

Dzingel is looking more and more like he can be a top 6. He's pretty creative. That was a beautiful pass.PTFlea wrote:wprager wrote:tim1_2 wrote:Right now, there's just no where for Puempel to go, except that fourth line. You can't mess with the top 3 lines given the last game.

We all have our moments of prophetic victory. Mine was Hoffman.
I think Perron flew under everyone's radar until last year.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:Yeah yeah yeah.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:

I'm also hoping and I think everyone is. I'm pretty sure it only depends on how much phisicality he can take. And time to adjust to the pros.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:I think Perron flew under everyone's radar until last year.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:Yeah yeah yeah.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:

It was him and Lindberg that looked really good in last year's training camp though. Now Perron has to show he can do it at the pro level - which I think he can...with aplomb!
