Thanks for sharing Cap. I've often wondered about that side of things, and how people actually manage to do it.  It takes guts to write about as you did, but I'm glad you did. Hope everything else is well!

It's not been without its downside. Writing and being so open about it. I've lost some long time close friends over how they feel it's disrespectful to the family and to her memory.

And I bet those folks have never had to go through what you did. I think everything you felt as you went through this was perfectly normal and likey very typical of how others in the same situation feel.

And I'm sure that some who have read it can relate and not feel alone or feel like they're not entitled to those feelings and maybe they too can feel less guilty about it.

i think its impossible for people to understand unless they've gone through it. i think at the very least people should reserve from making judgement. it takes incredible strength to stand by someone and take care of them as they are dying not counting the devastating effects it is having on your life and your future.
I applaud you for putting it out there. it's all part of the healing process and coming to terms with how hard it all is.

So what does a Tesla go for in Canada? I saw a Model-X on the 417 a couple weeks ago. That one is over $100K in Canada ($83K USD list price). I take it the Model 3 is a bit more cap-friendly? But still, how many years do you have to drive it to recoup the cost in fuel savings? Any government rebates/tax breaks for it?
