What about O'Reilly from the Avs....Apparently there is still bitterness there. He's a RFA (again) at the end of this season.

I could be wrong, but O'Reilly and players like that don't usually go at deadlines. I would imagine that to be a summer transaction.

O'Reilly would be a perfect pickup for the Sens and there have been rumours before but he can't be traded for I THINK 2 more days.

Agreed, but he would have conceivably more value at the deadline.

I shudder to think of what O'Reilly would cost us.

The Avs would be looking for us to include a d-man in a package, and maybe two...Cowen, Borocop, Gryba, Wiercioch, Methot, etc....

You are looking at Cowen for sure then keep adding.

Likely too rich for our blood at this point. We'll see I guess - especially with Cowen having turned his game around.

I'm not the worlds biggest Cowen fan so I would have no problem dealing him for O'Reilly.
