That's the thing that really mystifies me...when the media talks about an Alfie trade scenario, they seem to ignore the fact that we are currently very much in the playoff picture. Sportsnet was all over this subject last night, spouting off different trade circumstances...what a waste of time.

Back to back road games this weekend. @ Philly on Sat and then @ the Islanders on Sunday. These are both winnable games. Would be nice to take both this weekend. Anderson will be addressing the media today. Wonder if he'll pay this weekend? If Lehner is sent down today, then I guess we'll know for sure.

Philly is a nooner, so they'll have more than the usual back-to-back time between games. For one thing, they won't be driving into Long Island at 2AM. For another, it's the friggin' Islanders.

Oh, geez, the Sunday game is another matinee affair. Still, they'll get out of Philly early, and the 3PM start will only screw up their game-day routine, but both teams will be affected the same.

Probably needs 2 or 3 games to really get back into it. After that he is def the guy that is coming up next.
