Rant about Bettman

I just thought I'd vent a little on Bettman. I've heard for quite some time now that ESPN2 is interested in getting back involved with the NHL. Why on earth has this not happened yet?

Is it that they don't like the offer? Really? How can it be worse than the NBC "profit" sharing deal they have? At least they'll have a deal with a network people can subscribe to and find unlike Versus/OLN right?

Bettman clearly doesn't understand the regional nature of most sports in the US. Cultivate your relationship and create value with your regional partners and get with reality, dummy.

Wasn't he the one who gave the green light to the "glowing puck" experiment with Fox? I don't think he understands hockey itself, let alone the regional nature of viewership, and their demographics.
