I love the FAN and AM640 and the "National" sports media.

They get all schoolgirlish when they talk about Brian Burke and the flurry of big moves (which will all be WINS for the Leafs before they even happen) on the come.

12:02 for me. Burke has such an amazing fetish for Big Bert. 4.5 million dollars. Pfft. That's why you don't mix business with pleasure.

Trading for May? At least it's only for a conditional 6th and low salary on the last year of his deal.

If it doesn't improve the team they're looking at a lost pick. If it does improve the team it wouldn't be by much and the leafs are going for the "barely missed the playoffs" spot for the 4th straight year. They won't be drafting one of those top 8 guys if they end up finishing 9th or something.

Here's hoping, for them, that they make it or just tank. At least the Sens games have been somewhat entertaining while maintaining that high draft spot.
