The Sens (12-17-5, 29 pts) continue their western road trip with a visit to oil town and the Edmonton Oilers (17-14-3, 37 pts). Gerber gets the start for the Sens and Garon is listed as probable for the Oilers.

The Sens are 0-3 on this road trip so far and it ain't looking good at all with dismal efforts put in by everyone across the board. I can only imagine how frustrated Hartsy is as I'm sure he's just as fed up as we are watching these lack luster efforts night in and night out.
Cody Bass is expected to miss today's game and Volchenkov is listed as doubtful. Winchester and Kuba are still listed as being on the IR.
BLACK AND BLUE REPORT
SENATORS: D Anton Volchenkov (upper body), may play; D Filip Kuba (lower body), will not play; RW Jesse Winchester (upper body), will not play.
OILERS: LW Steve MacIntyre (face) day-to-day; RW Fernando Pisani (ankle) will not play.
Look to Jason Smith for a big game... he captained this team for 5 seasons from 2001-06.
Game is listed as being shown on SNET-E (HD), SNET-W (HD).
